My Perception of a Small Family Get Together is Skewed! {Giveaway}

100_1786 (2)

Without a doubt, my favorite part of Thanksgiving is celebrating with family.  As you all (probably) know, I have eleven brothers and sisters.  With four of us married, one of us in a serious relationship, and three nieces and nephews, we could potentially have up to twenty two people at my parent's house!  It's always loud, crazy, and a little stressful but I wouldn't trade it for the world!  Thinking about having a quiet holiday makes me almost want to cry.  This year there are going to be fifteen people at my parent's house in Spokane for Thanksgiving and it honestly makes me sad that we're going to be missing so many of us.  Oddly enough, fifteen people sounds like such a small group.  Haha.  I guess it's all just a matter of perspective.

To celebrate this season of Thankfulness, I asked my sponsors to let us know what they're thankful for - I loved each of their answers!

(Make sure you make it to the end of the post to enter the giveaway too!)

  9. We have a large family as well - I love it! I also love the thankful sentiment this time of year - I'm thankful for my savior, I'm thankful for my family and I'm thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in this country :)

  13. We took a 3 generation family photo yesterday with 24 people in it, so yeah, big families are a big part of my life too. And they can be just a tad chaotic.

  17. I love big family get togethers! I only have three siblings, but my mom is one of 15 so we have HUGE holiday parties. I love the loud craziness of it all. When I'm with my husband's family it seems so quiet! LOL

  18. I am thankful for my husband and my family! I can't wait for Thanksgiving. We have a pretty big gathering, but it's not just immediate family. Ours is about 20 with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and close family friends who don't have a place of their own to go for Thanksgiving. I can't wait! It's my favorite holiday! :)

  19. Oh wow! 11 siblings! Goodness gracious. We often have 12-15 people at my grandparents' holiday house, and on nights where there are fewer people than that there it feels rather empty.
