I love movies! Honestly, sometimes there's nothing better than curling up in my PJ's with Nate, drinking hot apple cider, while watching a good movie. If asked, I don't know if I could pick a favorite movie. My three go-to movies are While You Were Sleeping, Beauty and the Beast, and Pitch Perfect. <3 They all make my heart so happy!
I asked my sponsors to let me in on their favorite movies. It was so fun getting to know these girls better and discover why they love the movies they do. Maybe one of the girls shares a favorite movie with you!
Favorite movie....This really is a tough one considering I've seen a lot of movies! This answer to this question changes as frequently as my "regular" at Starbucks. Well, if I had to pick just ONE movie... I would have to pick Father of the Bride. (1 or 2) I really do love both of these movies. They are so cute and hilarious I'm a sucker for any good romantic comedy and those are such classics! But, if I had to pick a very close second, I would have to say Pride and Prejudice. Mr.Darcy. Enough said.
My favorite movie is Little Women. I love how all the sisters are so close and they always have so much fun! It reminds me of my sister and I currently. We are constantly doing things together and have more fun than is necessary. :) Right now, we are busy making preparations for her wedding in October. I also love the time period that little Women is set in.
My all-time favorite movie is Almost Famous. I absolutely love classic rock and like to pretend I was born in the wrong generation. I daydream about being a hippie and watching Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin perform at Woodstock '69. I also like to daydream about what it would be like to be a writer, following your absolute favorite band on tour across the nation, which is why this movie strikes such a chord (pun intended) with me. Plus, who doesn't love Kate Hudson?!
My favorite movie is The Blind Side...so hard to choose just one, but I love the story, I love football, and I never get sick of re-watching the movie!
This isn't an easy decision because I really don't have a favorite movie, rather I have a lot of movies that are my favorite. But I decided to share with you all my favorite movie from when I was little... Mary Poppins! I was always amazed at what Julie Andrews could do. It was mesmerizing, and I once watched it so much that the VHS (yes, I did say VHS) unwound. I liked Mary Poppins so much because there was singing in it. I love to sing so the fact that I got to sing along with it was even better! It just really was an optimistic childhood movie that I loved!
I know this is cliché, but my favorite movie is the Sound of Music! Literally, something magical happens when I watch Maria run over those hills and then proceed to give her life to love and care for a family in need. It inspires me! My love for the movie has brought me to Austria where I did the Sound of Music tour (ie: a bunch of middle aged women and me on a bus singing "do-a-dear"), and has taken me to Vermont to the real Von Trapp Family Lodge where I cross country skied through "Maria's Glenn" and met one of Maria's sons in real life! (I literally almost fainted shaking his hand!). And last year, my husband took me to the Hollywood Bowl where they hosted a Sound of Music Sing-A-Long, and I sat with thousands of other people singing the words to my beloved movie! I have now completely outed my undying love to TSOM to the world:) haha!
One of my favorite good-for-all-audiences movies is "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" or as my daughter used to call it "Gorium Gorium Wonder Porium Corium." Mr. Magorium reminds us that "unlikely adventures require unlikely tools" which probably explains all the strange findings in my at-home art studio.
